Battery
Hen Welfare Trust
|
||||||
| This site is full of information of how you can give an ex Battery Hen a new life. I was going to adopt 4 until someone said their house deeds did not allow them to keep poultry, so please check yours beforehand. I was extremely disappointed as I was so looking forward to having these little characters clucking around the garden enjoying some well earned freedom and quality of life. | ||||||

A website which has been created to let you know where your cannine friends are welcome - well worth a visit!! |

The author of this Web Site is a fanatical animal lover. My ever suffering husband could cope no more. He divorced me and his grounds were my unreasonable behaviour for my love of animals! He has since married a Ukranian Girl, 20+ years his junior, who can't speak English, and he promptly bought her a cat!!! I currently have 4 dogs, 1 cat, 1 chinchilla, 1 rabbit, 3 guinea pigs, 10 Japanese Quails for fresh eggs and loads of goldfish in the pond. Over the years I have cared for many different pets and have created this site to share some of my experiences and to alert people to issues and problems that effect us pet lovers, with particular emphasis on enhancing our pets lives as much as we can. I have been on TV twice, Granada Action appealing for Volunteers for Animal Care, and This Morning with Fern Britain and John Lesley on a pampered pet debate. I have also been a guest speaker on Radio 5 Live, again about pampered pets, and was invited as a telephone guest on Living's Loose Lip with Melinda Messenger and Richard Arnold, and on the Anita Anand programme regarding licences for pets. I do a lot of volunteer work for my local animal charity, Animal Care which I volunteered for for over 10 years and ended up being Chair of. I am now concentrating my efforts on running my pet shop. The Pet Care Pages introduces you to good basic information, with lots of useful links to other sites. Please visit it before you purchase your new pet. I hope you enjoy your visit. |
